Radio Park Elementary School Field Trip

Question:
  • You wrote about your expectations for the trip before we went.  Now that we have gone, what was similar to and what was different from your expectations?
  • Compare this elementary school to others you have seen.  What was similar and what was different?
  • What recommendations do you have for IECP students who go on trips like this in the future?

  • Answer:
    • Base on the experience I have years ago, deal with a large group of children could be a nightmare.  However, this new experience shows me a whole new perspective.  It might because their ages is younger which are just about the cutest age for a child or might because the number of them are fewer than I imaged, they all looks like little angels who are excited to show us what they have learned.

    • Compare this elementary school than the two I have attended to both in U.S and in Taiwan, Radio Park Elementary School is smaller than I expected.  Also as a international student in kindergarten twice (learning English at the first time, and learning Chinese at the second time), I can understand how difficulty for them to try to integrate into a new environment.  They are all very smart and brave.

    • Relax and respect, they are all very excited to meet you.  Don't forget to give the children a big hug.
